Pregnancy itself is a wonderful phase of your life. You will never forget all those memories with your baby bump and how you struggled and kept patience with all those pregnancy symptoms. Since you are nourishing your baby inside for 9 months, you must be careful and cautious of what to do and what not to do during the pregnancy period. In this article, I will tell you what to do and what not to do during this precious period of your life.

Do’s:-

  • Eat 8 ounces of protein every day. Dairy products, some vegetables, and lentils also contain protein.
  • Drink 3 liters of water every day.
  • Exercise lightly for 20 minutes.
  • Eat something every 2 hours.
  • Always eat fresh foods.
  • Sleep on the right or left side in the third trimester.
  • Drink milk daily.
  • Take folic acid and vitamin D tablets in the first trimester.
  • Get your vaccinations done.
  • Don’t miss the monthly visits to the doctor.
  • Bend your knees to pick up things on the floor.
  • Visit dentist.
  • Gain up to 11kgs in the ninth month of pregnancy.
  • Monitor your baby’s movements regularly.
  • Stay mentally and emotionally happy.
  • Carry your pregnancy reports wherever you go.
  • Have more healthy foods.
  • Include nuts and lentils in your diet.
  • Massage your body once a week.
  • Sit on a chair by keeping your feet flat on the floor.
  • Maintain hygiene and keep your body clean.
  • You can go for hair dye, waxing, and spa.
  • Stay active.
  • Have sex normally. If you find it difficult, then you can change positions and do.
  • Sleep 8 to 9 hours at night and.
  • Lie down in bed whenever you feel tired.

Dont’s:-

  • Avoid too much tea and coffee.
  • Don’t apply nail polish or any other chemicals to your body.
  • Don’t put artificial nails.
  • Don’t sit down on the floor in the first trimester.
  • Don’t smoke, drink alcohol, or take drugs.
  • Always take medicines after consulting your doctor.
  • Avoid hot tub baths.
  • Don’t eat raw or uncooked food.
  • Avoid unpasteurized milk.
  • Avoid high mercury fish.
  • Avoid over protein intake.
  • Don’t lift anything heavy.
  • Avoid climbing stairs in the first trimester.
  • Don’t play contact sports.
  • Don’t go diving.
  • Avoid too much screen time.
  • Don’t wear tight clothing or jewelry.
  • Don’t strain too much to get a bowel movent.
  • Don’t clean your cats or any other pet litter.
  • Be far away from harmful chemicals and radiation.
  • Plan your vacations in the second trimester.
  • Avoid fast food and outside food.
  • Avoid spicy and oily foods.
  • Avoid running, jumping, hopping, muscle training, and hard yoga.
  • Don’t eat papaya and pineapple.
  • Avoid camel meat and shark.
  • Avoid cold drinks and foods that are cold.
  • Avoid eating partially cooked foods.
  • Don’t diet.
  • Don’t sit with your knees crossed.
  • Don’t sit or stand for long periods in one place.
